Important 3G QPST Setting
In QSPT Service Programming under M.I.P tab set the Mobile IP behavior to 'Simple IP' This will allow your phone to connect to 3G when available or 1X when not in a 3G service area.
It works but it may compromise recvd images on sms, this is the case on the LG Optimus M+
